I love this idea. In the Black Panther movies and Avatar Last Airbender series, the main characters can enter a mental chamber and converse with their ancestors/predecessors for wisdom and guidance. It’s exactly what making friends with the eminent dead can do - we can all build our own Athens Academy and have dialogues with our wise mentors, whom we might never have met. It’s unlikely I will ever have lunch with Buffett, but I know I can consult his letters and wise words on many matters relating to business, personal conduct, and investing.
I totally agree (and really like your Black Panther and Avatar examples). Buffett's letters, interviews, Q&As, etc. have been so helpful -- and will continue to be for future generations.
