Great read.

I went to BC and Peter Lynch was a legend. He donated so much to the school.

I never knew he left the game so early. I learned something new today.

Props to @conormac for the find

Fantastic article, thank you for sharing! I didn’t know who Peter Lynch was when I picked up his book One Up on Wall Street in 2001, but it changed my life. I still think it’s one of the best books on the topic.

It's one of my favorites, too! I try to read everything of Lynch's that I can find.

Walking away can definitely be wise (and best overall) for the manager. However, the client needs someone helping them grow wealth for 30-40 years, not for 13.

Many great records under 15 years (still very impressive of course).

How many great records of over 30 years do you know?

Great article, can you add sources for the interviews?

No problem. All of the quotes come from these articles:

- "A Superstar Bids Farewell" (Newsweek - 04/09/1990)

- "The Simple Life" (TIME - 04/08/1991)

- "Walking Away" (Inc. - 02/1994)

- Washington Post article (03/10/1993)

- Bloomberg article (12/06/2021)
